Born in the American South, it was storytelling that opened up the world for Matthew. At a young age, it was the power of movies and books that transported him into the perspectives of others. Since then, his work has taken him across the globe, introducing him to people from all walks of life. It’s this collective experience that actively shapes his grounded and empathetic approach.
With his experience as a writer, director, and editor, he approaches every project with a holistic perspective—always thinking about how the pieces fit together, even before stepping onto set.  Matthew is dedicated to creating a collaborative experience with agencies and brands alike, ensuring that big-picture success is always squarely in the crosshairs from day one.
Alongside commercials and branded content, Matthew continues to develop both narrative and documentary projects. When he’s not on set, you can find him playing guitar, watching college basketball, or exploring the streets of New York City with a stills camera in hand.
